Cute and Wild

I'm a little under the weather today, so I thought I'd just do a quick post. This card is a cute and simple child's card using the lion from the Wild About You stamp set. The background is a Rubbernecker's stamp. The "ground" that the lion is standing on was done with an oval stamp I made. You know the left over rubber you have when you punch out your stamps? I took the cushion layer off, punched the rubber out with the small oval punch, put cling back on the new oval stamp and, voila, an oval stamp. I masked off the lion's legs and stamped the oval to make the lion look like he's standing on something instead of just floating.

Thanks for stopping by!

The Recipe:
Stamps: Wild About You, Rubbernecker background
Paper: Green Galore, chocolate chip, whisper white
Ink: Chocolate chip, green galore
Accessories: Chocolate chip twill ribbon, word window punch, ticket corner punch

Really simple and cute! Love the colors. The green looks great, and how clever to make your own stamp!
